Automated printing of Receipt by Bank started

Marking the World Customs Day on 26 January 2012, printing of receipt by the bank using the ASYCUDA software has been started at the Dry Port customs office. With the implementation of this receipt, there is no need of the manual receipt that was in place and to promote the clearance process, the payment information is automatically updated in the system when it is printed thus reducing the steps of the clearance process.

This is yet another step to automate the customs procedures that strengthens the system to go forward with customs automation and trade facilitation.
